چکیده
This paper presents a method for coordinated network expansion planning (CNEP) in which the difference between total cost and flexibility benefit is minimized. In proposed method, generation (GEP) of wind farms with transmission (TEP) problem by using energy storage systems (ESSs) to improve flexibility. To consider impact reactive power CNEP problem, AC flow model used. The constraints include equations, different equipment, system operating limits. Therefore, this imposes hard nonlinearity onto linearized use first-order Taylor’s series big-M as well linearization circular plane. uncertainty loads, price, farm are modeled scenario-based stochastic programming (SBSP). determine effectiveness solution approach, it tested on IEEE 6-bus 24-bus test GAMS software.

Generation and Transmission Expansion Planning for Renewable Energy Integration
In recent years the expansion planning problem has become increasingly complex. As expansion planning (sometimes called composite or integrated resource planning) is a non-linear and nonconvex optimization problem, researchers have traditionally focused on approximate models of power flows to solve the problem. The problem has also been split into generation expansion planning (GEP) and transmi...
متن کاملA New Generation Allocation and Expansion Planning Algorithm Including Transmission System Effects
Generation Expansion Planning (GEP) is one of major modules of power system planning studies, normally performed for the nex 10-30 years horizon. The current industrial practices are to find the generation requirements based on a nodal analysis. In this way, the allocations are not determined and subequent studies are required to find the exact locations which as decomposed from the earli...
متن کاملA Mathematical Model for Multi-Region, Multi-Source, Multi-Period Generation Expansion Planning in Renewable Energy for Country-Wide Generation-Transmission Planning
Environmental pollution and rapid depletion are among the chief concerns about fossil fuels such as oil, gas, and coal. Renewable energy sources do not suffer from such limitations and are considered the best choice to replace fossil fuels. The present study develops a mathematical model for optimal allocation of regional renewable energy to meet a country-wide demand and its other essential as...
